FALL OF SLATE.
THREE WORKERS KILLED. (Received 1.80 p.m.) McKEESPORT (Perm.), October 24. Threo men were killed, and nine injured to-day in a slate fall at the Hubbard mine of McKeesport Coal and Coke Company. An eight-ton ledge of slate crashed on to a train of cars carrying miners to work. About 40 other men leaped from the cars and escaped injury.
