TRANSPORT LOANS.
AUCKLAND LEGISLATION. AUTHORITY TO CONVERT. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. For the removal of a technical difficulty only, the Auckland Transport Board Conversion of Loam Empowering Bill was introduced in the House of Representatives to-day by Mr. H. O. R Mason (Labour, Auckland Suburbs). A* the board took over the obligations nf the City Council when it assumed corftrol of transport in Auckland, it requires special legislative authority to convert under loan conversion legislation loans connected with the tramways undertaking which were raised originally by the City Council.
