The New Zealand Most Producers' Board has received the following cable from its London office, dated October 6, advising that the following are the approximate average prices realised for the week based on actual transactions of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of meat, mentioned, and are. for representative parcels of the goode offering during the week, being for business done on the basis of delivered to Smitllfield market and/or ex London stores: —

Rest, quality lightweight steady, but heavy-weight and second quality slightly easier. Home killed supplies continue heavy. Mutton: Wethers and ewes also slightly easier in sympathy with lambs. There is a slightly increased demand for ewes at the lower prices. Beef: Quiet nnd unchanged. New Zealand pigs: Porker market firm with good demand, especially for light-weight. Baconer market steady and unchanged.
