The second day of the Otaki Maori Racing Club's spring meeting opened in dull weather and later light rain set in. The totalisator turnover was £SSSI, making a total for the two days of £12,3<JS, compared with £13,553 last year, a decrease of £1455.

Kimbo and Etiquette were well supported when they won the Puketoi Hurdles arfd Manuao Trial respectively. Additional results:—
