(Received 1 p.m.)
RUGBY, October &.
The British delegate's criticisms of the League of Nations' Budgetary system made at yesterday's sitting of the Assembly's Fourth Committee, were directed not at the details of the Budget or at the activities of the League, but merely at the method of Budgeting.
The Secretary-General, M. Avenol, and the chairman of the Supervisory Committee, have now undertaken to study tho subject in the light of the British delegate's remarks.
