NEW PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION".
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Friday.
A resolution urging the need for further economies by the State, with the objcct of reducing taxation, was passed last evening by the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce. It was decided, to forward the resolution to the Prime Minister. In coming to this decision the council expressed tho hope that means would bo devised to bring to the notice of Parliament the strong feeling of the commercial community on the subject.
