BUSY TWO HOURS.
FIRE BRIGADE CALLS.
FOUR IN QUICK SUCCESSION,
Between midday and 2 o'clock this afternoon tho City Fire Brigade was callcd out four times.
, At 12.25 there was a call to Burn Street, Grev Lynn. This was a chimney lire.' At 12.40 the brigade turned out to a call from the box at. the corner of Mount Eden and Kingsview Roads, Mount Eden. It was a malicious false alarm.
At 1.14 there was a call from Grey Lynn, where fat in a oven had caught alight in a house ni Adams Street. No damage was done.
At 1.58 tlio brigade turned out to tlio Domain Drive, Parnell, where a motor car had back-fired and cauglit alight. The blazo was put out with a chemical extinguisher, and the car was driven away.
