PALMERSTON NORTH TO WELLINGTON RACE.
Advice has been received from the Wellington Amateur Cycling Centre that it intends to conduct the annual 102 miles road race from Palmerston Xorth to Wellington- on November IS this year. The late date has "been decided upon, for on that particular date a big carnival week commences in Wellinglon. It was at first intended to run the event on October 21, but it was found that the big Southern classic amateur event, the "round the gorges," was scheduled for that date.
