RICHMOND CRUISING CLUB.
At a meeting of the Richmond Cruising Club held in the clubhouse on Tuesday, the following committees were set up:— Sailing, Messrs. T. L. Thompson, G. Bellve, V. Hogan, C. Brown, M. Hill and It. J. Thompson; handicapper, H. class, R. Judd; L and N, Mort Hill; V, R. J. Thompson; S, T. Bell; Y, V. Hogan; T and X, C. Philpot; Z, G. E. Laycock; midgets, M. Hill; measurers, V. Hogan and C. Philpot; starter, Mr. M. Hill; judge, Commodore T. L. Thompson; timekeepers, Messrs. G. E. Laycock and J. Longbottom. WAKATERE'S FIRST RACE. The Wakatere Boating Club held its first races of the season at the week-end. There were 11 ptarters in each event. The morning race was won by N. Wing's Wiritoa and the second by A. Williamson's Wahine. The club will hold two races on Saturday, October IC. YACHT AND MOTOR BOAT ASSOCIATION. A meeting of delegates to the Yacht and Motor Boat Association will be held in the squadron rooms on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
