DEHORNING BILL.
WILL IT BE DROPPED 7 (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary P.eporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. A sympathetic hearing was accorded by the Hon. C. E. MaoiniUan, Minister of Agriculture, to a representative deputation which waited on him yesterday, asking that the Dehorning of Cattle Bill be proceeded with again this session. The Minister promised to place the representations before the Prime Minister. Included in the deputation were representatives of the S.P.C.A., the Refrigeration Association, Livestock Butchers' Association and stock and station agent, , , TT , . The bilj was before the House last session, but was dropped. It was intended to reintroduce it this session, but it is understood Cabinet is now unfavourable.
