PAPATOETOE RATEPAYERS.
The annual meeting: of the Papatoetoe Ratepayers' Welfare League was held on Thursday. There was a large attendance, presided over by Colonel S. J. E. Clcsav (president). The annual report and bal-ance-sheet was presented by the secretary. which showed the league had completed a year of useful work. The election of officers resulted: —Patron, Mr. F. M. Waters (re-elected); president, Colonel S. ,T. E. Closey (re-elected); vicepresidents, Messrs. D. J. Morgan and «• >T. Thompson (re-elected); hon. secretary W. A. Nesbitt (re-elected); lion, treasure'', Mr. J. C. L. Kidd (re-elected); committee, Messrs. S. McMeehan, W. -Telfs, S. Hoi?' kinson, C. A. Moore, J. W. Ford and JDaialey.
