"BRUTAL ASSAULT CHARGE." MOTHER'S PATHETIC APPEAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBOP.NE, this day. For brutally assaulting his mother, a young native, Tommy Ahuriri, was sentenced at Te Araroa. to six montlis' imprisonment. The mother of the accused attended the Court and said she would sooner die than see her son sent to-gaol.
