SUMMER TIME.

FULL HOUR SUGGESTED. BILL INTRODUCED. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Parliament this session will have an opportunity to vote on a proposal to increase the amount of daylight saving to the full hour and extend the period of its operation for several weeks. In the House this morning Mr. R. McKeen (Labour, Wellington South) introduced an amending bill providing for an hour's advance of the clock and for a few weeks' longer operation of the period. Under the present law summer time commences on the second Sunday in October and until the third Sunday in March.
