BIG SALE AT CAMBRIDGE. ■ _ TROTTER TO BE OFFERED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. What is expected to *? the J™?*** horse fair ever held in New Zealand will open at Cambridge on Tuesday. Nearly 1000 horses, from North Auckland, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Te Puke, Tauranga and the King Country, wrtl be offered. About 200 animals from Gisborne and Tokomaru Bay have already arrived, and the remainder are due on Monday. . . East Coast horses are always in good demand in these parts as coming ott hill country, they are good legged and ideal for farm work. Many unbroken horses, a type now in keen demand, will be included in the Gisborne consignment. Most of the horses entered are draughts, which number about 600. The fair will last five days. On the last day light harness horses, hacks, thoroughbreds, jumpers and special entries will be offered. The well-known trotting horse Prince Pedro will be offered for unreserved sale on Saturday Visitors from all over both islands are' expected for' the sale, which affords remarkable evidence of ther return of i the horse as a utility factor on the I farm. .
