STAMP DESIGNS.

I have been a stamp collector for over forty years, and I consider that some of my most valued stamps are tho tui. Mitre Peak and the Maori head designs. If people gave the subject serious consideration they would realise that stamps of that type scrveto show the uniqueness and beauty of our country and draw visitors from all parts. For instance, why not the Buller Gorge with some native birds, rata in bloom, the kaka bird, Maoris at sport and at work weaving their baskets and making their wonderful mats, gifts suitable for a king? Visitors look for the inner beauty and New Zealand is different from any other country in the world, because of its own natural beauty and uniqueness of race.
