FIRE INSURANCE.
■. Lower fire insurance rates on dwellings and farm risks came into operation yesterday. The new rates are in conformity 'with the announcement made by the associated insurance companies some time ago. ■ •' Under the new scale, the bonus on'expiry notices is increased from 12* to 25 per cent in the case of city dwellings and from 12J to 20.per cent in the case of country dwellings and farms risks.
