LIMITS ON PRODUCE.
Effect of International Wheat Agreement. " MOMENTOUS ACHIEVEMENT." WASHINGTON, August 31. The Secretary of Agriculture, Mr. Henry A. Wallace, stated to-day that the international wheat agreement approved ill London would limit the exports of Canada to 200,000,000 bushels, those of the United States to 47,000.000 bushels, those of Argentine to 110,000,000 bushels, and those of Australia to 106,000,000 bushels up to July 1, 1934. Mr. Wallace hailed the agreement as a momentous achievement. He said no agreement had been reached as to production or quotas after 1934, but one would be. negotiated later through the Advisory Committee. The agreement fixed Australia's exports during the 1933-34 and 1934-35 seasons combined at 255,000,000 bushels.
