ALBERT STREET FIRE.
TOTAL INSURANCES, £40,000. Details of the insurance on the building, plant and etock which were destroyed by fire in the premises of Alex. Harvey and Sons, Limited, yesterday morning, have now been made available. The policies are held with Lloyds, and are for approximately £10,000 on the building, which is more than 25 years old, £20,000 on the plant, and £10,000 on the stock. The new portion of the building at the Federal Street frontage, which was not damaged, contains £5000 worth of plant, and is not insured. It has not yet been established where the fire originated or what caused it.
