WEEK-END PRICES IN SHOPS CAULIFLOWERS VERY CHEAP. EGGS STILL AT LOW RATES. \ Very fine samples of different,varieties of apples are now offering. The demand has shown improvement this week, and Granny Smiths firmed to 5d per lb. Most other lines, including Winesaps and Rome Beautys, are offered at 4d per lb. Californian plums are now 1/ per lb and fine grape fruit are marked 4d each. New Zealand grape fruit sell at from 1/3 to 1/0 per dozen. Lemons, being now very plentiful, sell at lower prices. Island oranges are offered at 1/6 to 2/ per dozen, according to size. P.oormau oranges are not so plentiful this week. Asparagus is now offering, but far supplies have been limited, as it is a little early in the season. Fine cabbage, cauliflower and celery are now on the market at fairly low prices.
