WAITEMATA BOWLERS

The Waitcmata Bowling' .and Croquet Club's annual dance, which was held in tho King's Theatre at Northcote last evening, was a pronounced success, there being a very large gathering. The decorations included fernery and coloured streamers, while suspended above the dancers were designs of games in progress on bowling and croquet greens. Tho supper tables also were attractively arranged to represent grassed lawns. The president of the club, Mr. F. G. Black - well, was assisted in receiving the guests by Mrs. Blackwell, wearing a frock of black crepe do soir. The organising committee had the co-operation of the principal officers of the croquet club, the president, Mre. E. 6. Bailey, being frocked in black lace and georgette; the secretary, Mrs. M. Millington, in black laco and bridge coat, and Mrs. C. G. Isbister, in floral green silk. Extras were played by Miss E. Roberts, Messrs. W. Roberts, C. Aspden and N. R. Harris.
