WEST END ROWING CLUB.

The officers, committee and members of the West End Rowing Club held their second annual ball in the Peter Pan Cabaret last evening, and it was attended by a large number. Decorations in the club's colours of black and

white were artistically arranged round the pillars and entrances to the cubicles. Over the orchestra dais was suspended the motto of the club, which was an old Maori war cry, and the orehestia wore black and white striped blazers, as a compliment to the club. Miss Molly Ballantync and Mrs. Chapman demonstrated the quick-step and waltz, during the evening. The guests were received by Mr. A. C.
