A SPEEDY THREE-YEAR-OLD. Passion Fruit, who boat a useful field of hacks decisively in the Irial Plate at Trentham in July, has made his reappearance on the track at Hastings, but is doing little work. Although still wearing a bandage, his trainer, G. Greene, says the gelding is all right again. Passion Fruit is a halfbrother to Athens 11. and Fluency, and is expected to make a name for himself this season. Latest reports from Hastings state that this speedy three-year-old is to be prepared for the Avondale Guineas, to be run in October.
