THEFT OF BLANKETS.
YOUNG MAN IMPRISONED. Stewart Manuel, aged 22, appeared in the Police Corn t this morning, when he pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing a pair of blankets valued at 15/, the property of Isabella Fielder, on August 30. The police said that Manuel had been staying at a boardinghouse, and yesterday he left, and took the blankets with him. Ho pawned them for 4/. Manuel was sentenced to three months' imprisonment.
