BRITAIN'S ACCOUNTS.
LATEST TREASURY RETURNS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 2 p.m.) RUGBY, August 29. The latest Treasury returns show ordinary revenue for the current financial year up to August 26 as £232,205,529, and for the corresponding date last year £22.5,630,021. The ordinary expenditure to date in the current year totalled £268,976,158, which is about ! £34,000,000 less than for the correspondI ing period of last ,year.
