JUNIOR MANAGEMENT AFFAIRS. The Junior management committee of he Auckland Rugby League met last ■vening, Mr. D. Wilkie presiding. The City Eovers third intermediate team vas granted permission to play at Huntly >n September 9. An' application by Mangere Qub for issistance toward ground fees was deferred : or consideration. The committee upheld the Richmond Rovers Club in suspending two players tor the rest of the season for misconduct. The suspension of an Otahuhu player was uplifted, subject to strict condition as to his play on Saturday. A player in Manukau third intermediates not being in order, the match last vceic was awarded to Akarana. The transfer of R. J. Ivean from Richmond to Devonport was granted, and a Ponsonby application in respect ol W. Bowsher (Akarana) wae deferred for inquiry. R. Burrell, J. Robinson, R. Tait and C. Mclnnes (Papakura) were regraded from third open to third intermediate, and D. Hutchinson City fourths to fifth grade. The final of the second grade knockout is to be played at Sturgess Park, Otahuhu, on Saturday, between Mangere and Otahuhu, who recently met in the championship final at Carlaw Park. In reply to a letter of inquiry on the subject, it was decided to inform the Oratia Rugby Union Club that the p.ayer concerned who had played for Oratia was a registered Rugby League player for two seasons and therefore in order, ,'
