HARBOUR BOARD DANCE.

A very animated scenc was presented at the Peter Pail Cabaret last evening, when the Auckland Harbour Board Social Club held its annual dance. The decorations were nautical, consisting of lifebuoys, placed at cach corner of the dance floor, rows of Hags of different nations and code signals being suspended from the ceiling. Clusters of balloons and red-shaded lights added a bright glow to the cabaret. The orchestra featured a number entitled "The Moonlight, the Harbour, and You," and demonstrations of various dances were given by MisS Margaret O'Connor and Mr. Priestley, Miss Natalie Stratton and Mr. M. Stratton, and Miss Freda Stark and Mr. Len Wilson. The members of the committee present were: Mrs. Pi. C. Holmes, in lilac georgette; Mrs. C. 11. Whiting, vicux rose souple satin; Mrs. J. 11.
