PAPATOETOE LECTURE.
At a large meeting of the Papatoetoe Literary and Debating Society in the ' Methodist Hall last evening, a lecture on \ Socialism was given by Mr. 0. E. . Burton, M.A. In moving a vote of thanks , to the speaker, Mr. E. P. Greenhough . remarked that the audience, by its lively criticism, had shown; its full appreciation. Mr. C. J. Mahon, president of the society, ' was chairman. 1
