'QUAKE IN PACIFIC.

SHOCKS FOB. THREE HOURS. (By Telegraph.—-Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Seismological instruments at the Dominion Observatory were kept busy yesterday for three hours recording a big quake, which began at 10.1 a.m., New Zealand time. The centre was located about 5200 miles from Wellington, probably somewhere in the northern part of the Pacific Ocean. It was the biggest 'quake recorded for many months.
