Although the equity in ' some cases is not as satisfactory as is I desirable, a careful perusal of borrowers' accounts discloses a favourable position, f In the year ended May 31, 1933, 63 appli- , cations were received, of which 13 were i declined and 50 granted. Current loans * total 129, and shareholders number 200. I The total amount advanced during the year was £6914, an increase of £1479, 1 while the amount outstanding to mem- [ bers at the end of May was £30,557, a reduction of £9222.
