SATURDAY'S GOLF GAMES.

YOUNG- SELF CUP VICTOR.

In perfect weather the championships were commenced, or advanced a further stage, on several courses on Saturday. At Titirangi the Self Cup, decided on best aggregate over three rounds, was won by the youthful player, J. H. Young. By . returning net cards of 74, 72 and 71 Young i has fulfilled the promise which he showed in tlie summer. He is now handicapped a 4 mark. In winning the Schnauer Cup at Maungai kiekie, medal handicap conditions, J. T. Tanner returned three fine cards of 65, 71 and 68. TITIRANGI CLUB. A Canadian foursomes bogey competition was played at MidcUemore on Saturday by members of the Auckland Golf Club, 104 players taking part. There was no wind and the course was in excellent order. The final round of the Laing Memorial Bowl, a 30-hole mrdnl event, for seniors, was played on Saturday nt the Waltemata links. The winner was H. Nicholas, with a net score of 133. The president's trophy, for juniors, was won by It. McDonald with a net score of 135 for the two rounds.

MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB.

Conditions were ideal for the iinal round of the Schnauer Cup and concurrent medal nlayed at One Tree Hill on Saturday. The cup was won by J. T. Tanner with the three excellent net cards of 05. 71 and OS, for a total of 204. R. P. Bennett was run-ner-up with a total of 207, followed by F. T. Rostgard with 208.
