Supplies of Valencia oranges have come to hand, the price being 1/ per dozen. Californian cherries came to hand in good condition, and are selling at 2/ per lb, while plums are quoted from 1/ to 1/4 per lb. Coconuts can be Rot for 3d each. Some Josephine pears, are offered at 3d per lb. Supplies of lemons are very heavy now, and the price is 1/ per dozen. Limes from the Islands are offered at ten for 1/. Vegetables are in heavy supply. The mildness of the season is shown by the fact that asparagus grown at Whangarei has reached the market, a month earlier than usual. Brussels sprouts have firmed to 9d per lb.
