FATAL FALL.
SLEEPWALKER AT WAIWERA,
(From Our Own Correspondent.) WARKWORTH, Friday. On the rocky foreshore between Waiwera and Hadfield's Beach this afternoon,- the body of Mr. Albert Cook, aged 65 years, a resident of Waiwera, was found. It is presumed that he walked in his sleep, and, falling from the cliffs near the top of the Waiwera Hill to the rocks below, was either killed by the fall or drowned in the sea. The ■body was found about three-quarters of a mile away from the 6cene of the accident. As Mr. Cook was in the habit of walking in his sleep, the door of the house was locked each night and the key hidden. When the family rose this morning Mr. Cook was missing, and a search party was organised. It was 2.30 p.m. before the discovery on the beach was made.
Mr. Cook is survived by a wife and an adult family.
