FARMERS IN POLITICS.
Against Pact With United Australia Party. HIGH TARIFF PROTEST. (Rcceiveil 10 a.m.). SYDNEY, this day. By unanimous vote, the Fanners and Settlers' Conference decided, in view of past experience, to urge the Country party not to agree to any pre-election pact with the United Australia party for the next Federal election.
The conference emphatically protested against the present exorbitant tariff.
