AMERICAN BUYERS EXPECTED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this clay. 1 Wool growers of this province arc indulging in expectation that at the first sales this season in Auckland at the end of November buyers from America will be operating more actively than in past years, probably bidding for medium grades, as is their wont, but for increased quantities. One reason for that expectation is that many sheepfarmers in the United States have been forced by Hnari- j cial stringency to reduce their Hocks, consequently' America's huge demand for wool I must be supplied by importation. |
