AMERICAN LIGHT-WEIGHT.
MATCHES IN AUCKLAND,
Under engagement to the Auckland Boxing Association, Billy Petrie, a prominent American light-weignt boxer, is to leave Vancouver by the Aorangi n ext week. He is due here on September 3. It is expected that Petrie will engage in a number of matches at Auckland. Iwo likely opponents are Ted Oxley, oi l'ahiatua, and Archie Hughes, formerly of New South Wales, and now of Auckland.
