PONSONBY STILL UNBEATEN

THISTLE SCORE HEAVY VICTORY.

A full programme of games was got off in the senior grade of the local Soccer competition on Saturday, when championship and cup tie matches were playc-d. Ponsonby and Comrades fulfilled their delayed Falcon Cup tie and also their second round game in the senior championship, and the former continued on their winning way. Shore United g r >t the better of Y.M.C.A. at Devonport in the Falcon Cun, while in the championship contests Thistle had an easy task to dedefeat Abels; Tramways and Glen lime; played a drawn game, and Onehunsm and New Lynn in their match both failed to score and also divided the noints.
