PEOPLE AND ART UNIONS. MINISTER'S INDICATION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ELTHAM, this day. Tlio fact that tho Government is inundated with applications for lottery money was mentioned by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the lion. J. A. Young, when replying to a deputation interested in the mountain house project at Daweon's Falls this week-end. The Minister indicated that the whole of New Zealand had gone wild in connection witli such applications. He pro-' (luced ;t portfolio and index showing hundreds, of applications already in hand for participation in lottery profits, and said that others were coining to hand every week.
