BROWN'S BAY BUSES.
As a worker who lias occasion to use the Brown's Bay bus service frequently, I would like to voice a, protest against the action of the local council in preventing the Transport Company from using their larger buses over this route-. It will mean running a greater number of small buses, which will increase the cost of controlling the service, and I have no doubt that this added cost will be passed on to the travelling public in some way. If this should prove to bo the cancellation of concessions granted to workers, [ feel sure that it will adversely ail'ect the progress of the district and strike yet another blow at the* pocket book of the working man who must travel ■'backwards and forwards to his place of employment.
