CANCER CAMPAIGN.
TRAVIS ESTATE GRANT.

CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday.
A grant of £500 for three years for the salary of a physicist in connection with the British Empire Cancer Campaign has been made by the trustees of the Travis estate. The income of the estate is devoted to medical research within the Dominion, and is primarily to be used in cancer research.
Recently the trustees presented the Christchurch. Hospital with an electric knife for operations, and have promised to supply another for lung operations at the Cashmere sanatorium.
