WAIHI COMMEMORATION.
WAIHI, this day.
A commemoration service on the fourth anniversary of the death of the late Joseph E. Slevin was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Ings, in St. Janice' Presbyterian Church yesterday morning. The Mayor and councillors attended. Mr. Slevin was an elder of the church for 43 years, and a. prominent figure in civic life. He wae a member of the first WaiM Borough Council and chairman of the Hospital Board.
