SEDDON LIBERAL PARTY.
EDEN BRANCH SECEDES. At a well-attended special meeting of the Eden branch of the Seddon Liberal party it was unanimously decided to sever connection with the Seddon Liberal party of New Zealand forthwith and to reform as the LiberalLabour Federation.
A provisional executive of the new federation was appointed as follows: Messrs. Murdock, W. Woods, S. Schubert-Hawkins, F. C. Smith, W. 0. Goodall, C. H. Donald, L. G. Goodali, J. Von Stunner, F. S. Byng-Johnson, C. Murphy, and F. S. Bennett. Committees 'were formed for drawing up a policy and constitution. It was unanimously decided to seek the co-operation of all Liberals throughout the Dominion for the betterment of the cause.
