Australia to Search for Citrus
Fruit Market.
NEW ZEALAND ATTITUDE. (Received 11 a.m.) CANBERRA, this day. Senator McLachlan, in a statement, said that small hope exists that the New Zealand embargo on Australian citrus fruits will be lifted. He added: "When New Zealand's negotiations with America are concluded it is possible that we may be able to arrange a partial lifting of the embargo. The Federal Government is now considering negotiating for trade with other countries." !
