There was a large attendance of members at the monthly meeting, when Airs. AlcNieol and' Afrs. Nicholson were welcomed after absence through illness. A vote of sympathy was passed to Airs. Kemp, whose homo was recently burnt down. Airs. Bilkey was elected Press correspondent. It was decided to hold a euchre party and dance on July 5. The competition, "Something to Cost I'/, resulted: Afrs. Taylor 1, Afrs. W*. Limmer 2, Afrs. Friedlander 3. A lecture on "Douglas Social Credit" was given by Afrs. Smith, of Aforrinsville. A presentation was made to Afrs. Mclndoe, the first secretary, who is leaving the district., A vote "of thanks was passed to the lecturer and hostesses Alesdames R. Dimmer, Kemp, Porter, D. Alarwood and Stuart.
