Pukekohe defeated Waiuku on Saturday 011 the latter's links, by eight rubbers to four. At Pukekohe the local ladies' team beat Waiuku by sis rubbers to two, with two others all square. Keith Caldwell, the flying ace, 2 town, was second to R. Glasgow, all square, in the Onewhero bogey. Mrs. Wilson won tho medal, with Mrs. Gower runner-up. Ot Opotiki, Cate won the hogey for 32 competitors, with the fine card of four up. The Rodney Golf Club conducted a fourball, beat-ball bogey match yesterday. E. Mclntyre'and T. Wright tied with A. Hoysted and C. Baker, 5 down. Miss Hebden won a L.G.U. medal round with a score of 48, 52—18—82. G. H. French, 94—26—68, and K. Buddie, 7&_6—70 led the field in the second qualifying round of the Ngokonui Cup at Rotorua. The Rocky Downs club played a teams' match on Saturday over 18 holes under medal conditions.
