CHRISTCHURCII, this day. C. S. Dempster (Wellington) has been awarded th'e Redpath Cup by the New Zealand Gricket Council for the most successful New Zealand batsman last season. He scored 231 runs, with an average of 38.5. This is Dempster s fourth success.
