The Presbyterian B.C. Club commenced tlieir run on Saturday from the residence of their»vice-president, Mr. A. E. Odlin, 28, Mountain Road, Epsom. BARNES WINS EDMOND CUP AGAIN,
DUNEDIN, Sunday. Running a confident race from start to finish, .T. G. Barnes, of the Civil Service harriers (New Zealand mile and crosscountry champion), won the Edmond Cup steeplechase over a ten-mile course at Wingat 111 yesterday arternoon for (he fifth time, this making his third successive victory. Tlic overhead conditions were favourable, tho weather being warm and sunny. In spite of tlie heavy nature of the course Barnes ran one of his best races, being in either first or second position all the way, and being out on his own the second time round. The winner's time, 57.11, was a meritorious performance considering the adverse state of the track. It was 23 secouds faster than his own winning time Inst year. Barnes was not distressed at any stage.
HAMILTON CLUB,
The following are the results of the races run by the Hamilton Harriers' Club on Saturday afternoon : — .... Junior Championship (three miles). —L. Skeet 1. D. Silvester 2, N. Polglaße 3.
