CHEST AND ARM GASHED,

WHITIANGA, this day.
Whilst wild pig hunting at Whcnuakite, Thomas Marshall, an elderly married resident, received severe gashes on the chcst and arm through being gored by a pig. The injured man was convoyed to the Mercury Bay Hospital. Somo of his muscles were laccratcd. He is now making satisfactory progress.
