TRAGEDY AT RUAPEHU. A picture of the Crater Lake at the summit of Mount Ruapehu, where Mr. John Wall, a Wanganui youth, fell to his death yesterday. The cross on the far side of the lake indicates the approximate position of the accident. The cross on the right shows the only face down which the rescue party will be able to descend into the crater.
