LONDON'WOOL SALES. UPWARD TREND. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, May 19. At the wool sales 8435 bales were offered, including 2849 New Zealand About 3199 were sold. There was spirited home and continental competition, with a. firm tone, a lid prices tending in sellers' favour. .New Zealand half bred lamb slipe, Pareora, top price 13Vid, average 12% d: greasy crossbred, Weber, BVul and 6%d: greasy hallbred, Kokerangu, llVid and 9;sd. Messrs. Dalgety and Company,. Limited, report having received the foliownig cablegram from their head office, dated 19th instant:-— , , ~ Wool Sales. —The wool sales continue with excellent spirit and good clearance.
