MINE EXPLOSION.
THREE DEAD IN STAFFORD. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 17. Three miners lost their lives in an explosion in the West Cannock colliery, near Hednesford, Staffordshire. Many of the 100 men who were in the pit at the time were brought to the surface suffering from the effects of gas.
